Երուսաղեմի սրբավայրերն այցելուների համար կբացվեն ապրիլի 9-ին, հայտնում է Երուսաղեմի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչ Գեղամ Բալյանը՝ վկայակոչելով Իսրայելի ոստիկանության ներկայացուցչին։

Իսրայելի իշխանությունները հայտարարել են, որ Երուսաղեմի հիմնական սրբավայրերը կրկին կբացվեն այցելուների և հավատացյալների համար՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքի հակամարտության ժամանակավոր հրադադարից հետո։

Ոստիկանությունը հայտարարել է, որ վերաբացումը ուժի մեջ կմտնի հինգշաբթի առավոտից, իսկ անվտանգությունը պահպանելու և ամբոխը կառավարելու համար կտեղակայվեն հարյուրավոր լրացուցիչ ոստիկաններ։

Այդ վայրերի թվում են Ալ-Աքսա մզկիթի համալիրը, Արևմտյան պատը և Սուրբ Գերեզմանի եկեղեցին, որոնք բոլորը գտնվում են Հին քաղաքում և համարվում են իսլամի, հուդայականության և քրիստոնեության ամենասուրբ վայրերից։

Այս վայրերը շաբաթներ շարունակ մեծ մասամբ փակ էին մնացել ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի միջև Իրանի հակամարտության պատճառով, որի պատճառով մուտքը սահմանափակ էր միայն հոգևորականների համար՝ հիմնական կրոնական տոների, այդ թվում՝ Զատկի և Պասեքի որոշ հատվածների ժամանակ։
