«Օրիոն» տիեզերանավը հաղթահարել է Լուսին հասնելու ճանապարհի կեսից ավելին՝ հաղորդում է NASA-ն:

Սարքը երկրից հեռացել է 293 հազար կիլոմետր, մինչ Լուսնին հասնելը մնացել է 202 հազար կիլոմետր։ ԱՄՆ-ի Օդագնացության ազգային վարչության տվյալով՝ «Օրիոնը» շարժվում է ժամում մոտ 4300 կիլոմետր արագությամբ:

Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել էր, որ «Արտեմիս 2» առաքելության շրջանակում ԱՄՆ-ի արևելյան ափի Ֆլորիդա նահանգի Կանավերալ հրվանդանից Լուսին է ուղևորվել չորս տիեզերագնացով «Օրիոն» տիեզերանավը: Անձնակազմը 10 օր կպտտվի Լուսնի շուրջը և կվերադառնա Երկիր՝ առանց Լուսնի մակերեսին վայրէջք կատարելու։ Երկրի արբանյակը գտնվում է Երկրից մոտ 400 հազար կիլոմետր հեռու։
