Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Պյոտր Պորոշենկոն մերժել է հանրային միջնոդագիրը, որով պահանջում էին ռուսական «Վկոնտակտե» սոցիալական ցանցից հեռացնել արգելափակումը։

Rbc.ru-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Պորոշենկոյի կայքում հրապարակված պատասխանում ասված է. ««Վկոնտակտե»-ի արգելափակման վերացման համար էլեկտրոնային միջնորդագիրն անհնարին եմ համարում»։

Նա մերժումը պատճառաբանել է նրանով, որ ռուսական սոցիալական կայքերը «նպաստում են ռուսական հատուկ ծառայություններին Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացիների անձնական տվյալների հավաքագրման, օգտագործման և տարածաման համար»։
