Լիբանանի Ալ-Կաա գյուղում՝ Սիրիայի հետ սահմանին, որպես խաղաղության ուղերձ տեղադրվել է Հիսուս Քրիստոսի 26 մետր բարձրությամբ արձանը։ Այս մասին ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ին հայտնել է նախագծի հեղինակ Ֆադի Էլյաս Ավադը։

«Արձանը տեղադրելու գաղափարը վաղուց գոյություն ուներ, սակայն ներկայիս պայմաններում այն դարձել է ավելի խորհրդանշական և նշանակալից։ Քրիստոսի արձանը մեր խաղաղության ուղերձն է և նշան այն բանի, որ քրիստոնյաները մնում են իրենց հողի վրա»,- ասել է Ավադը։

Գործակալության զրուցակիցը պատմել է, որ իր հարազատ բնակավայրում տեղադրված արձանը բաղկացած է 10 մետր բարձրությամբ պատվանդանից և բուն արձանից, որն ունի 16 մետր բարձրություն։
