Իրանի զինված ուժերը հարվածներ են հասցրել Մերձավոր Արևելքում գտնվող ամերիկյան բազաներին, հայտարարել է Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսը (ԻՀՊԿ, երկրի զինված ուժերի մաս):

««Իրական խոստում 4» գործողության 50-րդ ալիքն իրականացվել է Ալ-Զաֆրայում, Ֆուջեյրայում (ԱՄԷ), Ջուֆեյրում (Բահրեյն), ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի հինգերորդ նավատորմի, Ալի ալ-Սալեմի (Քուվեյթ) և Ալ-Ազրաք բազայի (Հորդանան) դեմ՝ օգտագործելով հարձակողական անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր», - ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ:

Փետրվարի 28-ին ԱՄՆ-ն և Իսրայելը սկսել են հարվածել Իրանում, այդ թվում՝ Թեհրանում գտնվող թիրախներին, որոնց մասին հաղորդագրություններ են ստացվել վնասների և քաղաքացիական բնակչության շրջանում զոհերի մասին: Իրանը պատասխան հարվածներ է հասցնում Իսրայելի տարածքում, ինչպես նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքում գտնվող ԱՄՆ ռազմական թիրախներին:
