Այս տարվա հունվարի 1-ին Էնդրյու Ֆլինդերսը սկսեց «կարտոֆիլային փորձարկումը»։ Չնայած փորձագետները մտածում էին, որ այդ փորձարկումը լավ ավարտ չի ունենա, նա որոշեց, որ 365 օր պետք է միայն կարտոֆիլ ուտի։ Կարտոֆիլի հետ Էնդրյուն օգտագործում էր նաև համեմունքներ։ Էնդրյուն կշռում էր 151,7կգ, ինչի համար այնքան էլ ուրախ չէր։
 
Այս գաղափարը նրա մոտ առաջացել էր այն ժամանակ, երբ հասկացել էր, որ կախվածություն ունի սնունդից։ Էնդրյուն կարտոֆիլը պատրաստում էր տարբեր ձևերով, սակայն չէր ցանկանում հետաքրքիր ուտեստներ պատրաստել։ Մինչև հիմա Էնդրյուն արդեն նիհարել է մոտ 5 կգ, սակայն նա զգուշացնում է մարդկանց, որ սա իր դիետան է և ոչ այնքան հաջող, որը կարող են նաև կատարել նիհարել ցանկացող մյուս մարդիկ։
 
«Սա միայն դիետա չէր, ես ցանկանում էր փոխել իմ վերաբերմոունքը սննդի նկատմամբ»,-ասել է Էնդրյուն։
