Սմբուկը ամենաօգտակար և ամենահամեղ բանջարեղեններից է համարվում: Պարզվում է՝ այն ունի նաև մաշկը ձգելու և հարթեցնելու հատկություն: Սմբուկից կարելի է դիմակ պատրաստել՝   մաշկի  բոլոր տեսակների   համար:

Պրոբլեմատիկ մաշկի դեպքում

Սմբուկը կեղևազատել, քերել, վրան եռացրած ջուր լցնել և թողնել  5-7 րոպե, ապա ջուրը քամել: Մեկ ճաշի գդալ սմբուկը խառնել ցածր յուղայնությամբ թթվասերի մեջ, մինչև պինդ զանգված ստացվի: Քսել դեմքին, պահել 10 րոպե, լվացվել սառը ջրով:

Չոր մաշկի դեպքում

Սմբուկի միջուկը մանրացնել, 2 ճաշի գդալ միջուկը, մեկ ձվի դեղնուցն ու 2 ճաշի գդալ թթվասերը խառնել, քսել դեմքին, պահել 15-20  րոպե, լվացվել գոլ ջրով:

Յուղոտ և խառը տիպի մաշկի դեպքում

50 գրամ սմբուկի միջուկին ավելացնել կեֆիր և ալոեի հյութ, խառնել, քսել դեմքին, պահել 15  րոպե, լվացվել հանքային ջրով:
