Ամերիկյան Deep Root Analytics վերլուծական ընկերությունը սխալմամբ համացանց է «բաց թողել» 198 մլն ամերիկացի ընտրողների անձնական տվյալներ։ Այդ մասին հայտնել է The Hill թերթը։

«Մենք պատասխանատվություն ենք վերցնում կատարվածի համար»,-ասված է ընկերության տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ, որը ԱՄՆ-ի Հանրապետական կուսակցության ազգային կոմիտեի պատվերով զբաղվում էր ընտրողների դիրքորոշումը ուսումնասիրելով։

Տվյալների արտահոսքը հայտնաբերել է UpGuard ընկերությունը, որը մասնագիտացած է կիբերանվտնագության ոլորտում։

Տվյալների ի հայտ գալուց հետո գաղտնաբառ է տեղադրվել, սակայն շուրջ 2 շաբաթ այն հասանելի էր եղել։
