Սիրիայի կառավարությունը հայտնել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած միջազգային կոալիցիոն ուժերը Սիրիայի ռազմաօդային ուժերին պատկանող ինքնաթիռ են խփել, փոխանցում է BBC-ն։

Ըստ տեղեկությունների՝ դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել Ռաքքա նահանգի Էս-Սաուր քաղաքից ոչ հեռու։

Դամասկոսը հայտարարում է, որ ինքնաթիռը «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ մարտական առաջադրանք էր կատարում, իսկ կոալիցիայի գործողությունը լուրջ հետևանքներ է ունենալու այդ պայքարի շրջանակներում։
