Իսպանացի ցլամարտիկ Իվան Ֆանդինոն մահացու վիրավորում է ստացել Ֆրանսիայում փառատոնի ժամանակ և մահացել հիվանդանոցի ճանապարհին: Բի-Բի-Սի-ն գրում է, որ ցլամարտի ժամանակ նա խճճվել է իր թիկնոցի մեջ և ընկել գետնին, ինչից հետո ցուլը հարձակվել է Ֆանդինոյի վրա: Վնասվել է 36-ամյա Ֆանդինոյի թոքը և նա մահացել է հիվանդանոցի ճանապարհին սրտային անբավարարությունից:

Իսպանիայի թագավորական ընտանիքը, վարչապետը ցավակցություն են հայտնել: Բասկերի երկրում ծնված Իվան Ֆանդինոն մասնակցել է Ֆրանսիայում անցկացվող կորրիդայի փառատոնին: Նա առաջին ցլամարտիկն է, ով մահացել է Ֆրանսիայում վերջին 100 տարում: Ֆանդինոն շաբաթ օրը երկու անգամ դուրս է եկել մրցասպարեզ:
