Թուրքիան Սիրիայի սահմանին պատի կառուցումն ավարտել է

Թուրքիան ավարտել է Սիրիայի հետ սահմանին 700 կմ երկարությամբ պատի կառուցումը: Սիրիայի հետ պատն ընդհանուր առմամբ լինելու է 828 կմ. Այս մասին գրում է թուրքական Hurriyet  պարբերականը:

Թուրքական իշխանությունները հայտարարել են, որ պատի կառուցմամբ նպատակ ունեն կանխել Սիրիայի տարածքից ահաբեկիչների մուտքը Թուրքիա:

Այդ երկրի պաշտպանության նախարարը հայտարարել է, որ նմանատիպ պատ կառուցվելու  է նաև երկրի արևելքում՝ Իրանի հետ սահմանին: 

Սահմանային անվտանգության միջոցները, թուրք նախարար Ֆ. Իսիկի խոսքով, այսքանով չեն սահմանափակվելու, սահմանի երկայնքով տեղադրվելու է սենսորային լուսավորության համակարգ, տեսախցիկներ, դրոններ:
