ԱՄՆ-ից, Կանադայից և Չինաստանից հնագետները Պեկինում առաջին անգամ լայն հանրությանը ներկայացրել են սաթի մեջ պահպանված 99 միլիոն տարեկան թռչուն:

Ռիա նովոստին, հղում անելով Sina-ին, գրում է, որ այն գտնվել է Մյանմարի հյուսիսային մասում 2016-ին, սակայն ճշգրիտ  թվագրելու համար գիտնականներին անհրաժեշտ է եղել մի քանի ամիս:

Գիտնականների խոսքով, այս գտածոն համարվում է բացառիկ, քանի որ ի տարբերություն նախորդների, որոնք գտնվել են հողից, սաթի մեջ պահպանված 6 սմ. թռչունի ամբողջական կառուցվածքը պահպանվել է, և նաև կարևոր է՝ փետուրները, մաշկը, ականջի անցքերը և կոպերը գիտնականներին եզակի հնարավորություն են տալիս մանրամասն ուսումնասիրել նախապատմական թռչուններին:
