ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ աշխատում է Գազայի հատվածում սովի դեմ պայքարի ծրագրի վրա։

«Մենք ուզում ենք օգնել մարդկանց։ Մենք ուզում ենք օգնել նրանց ապրել։ Մենք ուզում ենք, որ մարդիկ սնվեն։ Սա այն բանն է, որը պետք է տեղի ունենար վաղուց», – ասել է Թրամփը Axios-ին տված հարցազրույցում։

Ըստ լրատվամիջոցի՝ ամերիկացի առաջնորդը հստակեցրել է, որ մտահոգված է Գազայի հատվածում սովի մասին հաղորդագրություններով և մեղադրել է պաղեստինյան արմատական ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժմանը անկլավ հասնող մարդասիրական օգնությունը գողանալու, ապա վաճառելու մեջ։
