Էստոնիայում ՆԱՏՕ-ի զորավարժություններին մասնակցում են ԱՄՆ-ի, Ֆրանսիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Ֆինլանդիայի 1500 զինվորներ

Երկուշաբթի՝ հունիսի 5-ին, էստոնական պաշտպանության ուժերի կենտրոնական պոլիգոնում մեկնարկում են ՆԱՏՕ-ի Saber Strike զորավարժությունները: Այդ մասին հայտնում է postimees.ee-ն՝ վկայակոչելով Էստոնիայի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբին:

Էստոնիայի տարածքում նախատեսված զորավարժությունները հունիսի 3-ին Լատվիայում սկսված Saber Strike զորավարժությունների մասն են կազմում: Զորավարժություններին մասնակցում են Էստոնիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, ԱՄՆ-ի, Ֆինլանդիայի զինծառայողներ, ընդհանուր թվով՝ 1500 մարդ։

Բալթիկ ծովի երկրների տարածքում ամեն տարի զորավարժություններ են անցկացնում ԱՄՆ ցամաքային զինված ուժերը։ Այս տարի առաջին անգամ զորավարժություններին մասնակցում են տարածաշրջանում գտնվող ՆԱՏՕ-ի բոլոր ուժերը, այդ թվում՝ հետախուզական գումարտակը։ Զորավարժությունները տևելու են երկու շաբաթ։

Զորավաժությունների մշակվելու են պաշտպանական, զսպման, ինչպես նաև՝ հարձակողական մարտավարություն և մանևրներ, որոնց կրակային աջակցություն են ցույց տալու ամերիկյան օդուժի AH-64 (Apache) և UH-64 (Black Hawk) ուղղաթիռները:
