Նրա խոսքով, նման կարծիքի են եկել նաև եվրոպական կառավարությունների ղեկավարները:

«Ընդ որում ավելի քան 30 տարի առաջ այդ մասին զգուշացնում էր իմամ Խոմեյնին՝ ԱՄՆ-ը անվանելով մեծ սատանա: Նրա նախազգուշացումը պետք է մեզ համար կարևոր դաս դառնա»,- նշել է Իրանի առաջնորդը:

Նա ասել է, որ Սաուդյան Արաբիան ԱՄՆ-ի հետ համագործակցության պատճառով ստիպված է Վաշինգտոնին տալ իր բյուջեի կեսից ավելին: Խամենեին ընդգծել է, որ թեև ԱՄՆ-ին դիմակայելը ևս ծախսեր է պահանջում, սակայն այդ երկրի հետ դաշնակից լինելն ավելի թանկ է արժենում:
