The National Interest-ի տվյալներով՝ ԱՄՆ-ում կարող է մնացած լինել ընդամենը վեց GBU-57 տեսակի հակաբունկերային ռումբ, որոնք հայտնի են որպես Massive Ordnance Penetrator։ Դրանց մեծ մասը՝ շուրջ 14 միավոր, արդեն օգտագործվել է Իրանի միջուկային օբյեկտների դեմ վերջին հարվածների ժամանակ։

Մասնագետ Բրենդոն Վայհերթը նշում է, որ 2011-ից ի վեր արտադրվել է մոտ 20 նման ռումբ, ինչը նշանակում է, որ ներկա պաշարները բավական չեն լայնածավալ ռազմական արշավների համար, եթե, օրինակ, ԱՄՆ-ը հայտնվի պատերազմի մեջ Չինաստանի կամ Ռուսաստանի հետ։

Այս տեսակի ռումբերն առանցքային նշանակություն ունեն ամերիկյան զինանոցում՝ խորքային թիրախների ոչնչացման համար, այդ թվում՝ Իրանի, Հյուսիսային Կորեայի և այլ երկրների ուժեղացված պաշտպանված տարածքների դեմ հնարավոր գործողություններում։
