Պաղեստինցի ներգաղթյալների թիվը երկրի ներսում և այլ երկրներում գերազանցում է 7 միլիոնը։ Այս մասին ասվում է Պաղեստինի նախագահ Մահմուդ Աբասի ելույթում՝ արաբա-իսրայելական առաջին պատերազմում արաբական կողմի պարտության հիշատակի օրը, փոխանցում է  ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Այն, ինչ իսրայելական օկուպացիոն ուժերն անում են արդեն 19 ամիս ողջ աշխարհի աչքի առաջ, ցեղասպանության հանցագործություններն են, ավերածություններն ու սովի օգտագործումը Գազայի հատվածից մեր ժողովրդին դուրս մղելու նպատակով»,-ասել է նա:

«Պաղեստինցի փախստականների թիվը Պաղեստինի ներսում, հարեւան երկրներում եւ ամբողջ աշխարհում կազմում է ավելի քան 7 մլն.»,-նշել Է Աբասը։
