ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հանդես է եկել Ռուսաստանին և Ուկրաինային 30-օրյա անվերապահ հրադադար հաստատելու կոչով: Զինադադարը չպահպանելու դեպքում նա խոստացել է լրացուցիչ պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել երկու երկրների նկատմամբ։ Այս մասին Թրամփը հայտնել է իր Truth Social-ում:

«Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հետ բանակցությունները շարունակվում են։ ԱՄՆ-ն պահանջում է, իդեալականորեն, 30-օրյա անվերապահ հրադադար։ Հուսանք, որ ընդունելի հրադադարը կպահպանվի, և երկու երկրներն էլ պատասխանատվություն կկրեն այդ ուղիղ բանակցությունների անձեռնմխելիությունը պահպանելու համար: Եթե հրադադարը չպահպանվի, ԱՄՆ-ն ու նրա գործընկերները լրացուցիչ պատժամիջոցներ կկիրառեն», - գրել Է Թրամփը։

Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ եվրոպական առաջնորդների հետ հավատարիմ է մնում Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի միջև կայուն խաղաղության հասնելուն: ԱՄՆ նախագահը հավելել է, որ հրադադարը, իր կարծիքով, հեռանկարում պետք է հանգեցնի խաղաղության համաձայնագրի:
