ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը NBC News-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է, որ Եվրամիության ղեկավարները խնդրել են իրեն զանգահարել Ռուսաստանի առաջնորդ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին՝ լուծելու Ուկրաինայում հակամարտությունը, քանի որ ՌԴ նախագահը, իբր, չի պատասխանել նրանց զանգերին։

«Գիտեք, Եվրամիության ղեկավարներն ինձ այնքան են խնդրել, որ զանգահարեմ Պուտինին, քանի որ նա չի պատասխանի նրանց զանգերին»,- ասել է Թրամփը։

Այս շաբաթվա սկզբին ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը հայտարարել էր, որ ուղիղ բանակցությունների պատրաստակամության ազդանշանը պետք է գա Կիևից, սակայն մինչ այժմ Մոսկվան որևէ գործողություն չի տեսել։ Պեսկովը նշել է, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը ԱՄՆ նախագահի հատուկ բանագնաց Սթիվեն Վիտկովի հետ նախապես հաստատել է ռուսական կողմի պատրաստակամությունը՝ բանակցել Ուկրաինայի հետ առանց նախապայմանների։
