Իսրայելի պաշտպանության նախարար Իսրայել Կացը հայտարարել է, որ Թել Ավիվի «Բեն Գուրիոն» օդանավակայանի վրա հրթիռային հարձակման պատասխանը կլինի 7 անգամ ավելի հզոր։ Այս մասին հայտնել է Իսրայելի պաշտպանության նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունը։

Կիրակի Եմենից արձակված հրթիռի բեկորներն ընկել են երկրի գլխավոր օդանավակայանի մոտ, որը գտնվում է Թել Ավիվի մոտ։ Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի (IDF) տվյալներով՝ օդանավակայանի գործունեությունը կես ժամով դադարեցվել է։ Տուժածների մասին տեղեկություններ չկան։ 

«Ով մեզ վնասի, կվճարի դրա համար յոթնապատիկ», - ասել է պաշտպանության նախարարը և զգուշացրել անհամաչափ պատասխան տալու մտադրության մասին։ Իսրայելական զինուժն իր վերջին հարվածը հասցրել է Եմենում հութիների թիրախներին մոտ երեք ամիս առաջ։
