ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է այս տարվա սեպտեմբերին Մեծ Բրիտանիա այցելելու մտադրության մասին։ ԱՄՆ նախագահի խոսքով` հրավեր է ստացել Չառլզ  3-րդ թագավորից, գրում է kommersant.ru-ն։

«Ինձ հրավիրել են թագավորը և երկիրը, հզոր երկիրը... Կարծում եմ, որ այցի ամսաթիվը կնշանակվի սեպտեմբերին»,- ասել է Թրամփը Սպիտակ տանը լրագրողներին։

2025 թվականի փետրվարին Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Քիր Սթարմերը Դոնալդ Թրամփին հանձնել էր թագավորի անձնական նամակը։ Ինչպես հայտնում է Telegraph-ը, հանդիպման վայրը կլինի Վինձորի ամրոցը, այլ ոչ թե Balmoral կամ Dumfries House-ը, ինչպես նախկինում ենթադրվում էր։

Նախագահական երկու ժամկետների ընթացքում Դոնալդ Թրամփը մեկ անգամ պաշտոնական այցով այցելել է Մեծ Բրիտանիա՝ 2019 թվականին, որտեղ նրան ընդունել է թագուհի Էլիզաբեթ 2-րդը։
