Շրի-Լանկայում տարերային աղետի զոհերի թիվը հասել է 164-ի

Շրի-Լանկայում օրեր առաջ հորդառատ անձրևների առաջացրած ջրհեղեղների ու սողանքների պատճառով զոհվածների թիվն ավելացել է՝ հասնելով 164-ի։Այդ մասին հայտնում է Xinhua գործակալությունը։

Մինչև հիմա անհայտ կորած է համարվում 104 մարդ։

Գործակալության տվյալների համաձայն՝ աղետից տուժածների թիվը կազմում է ավելի քան 400.000 բնակիչ։ Բացի այդ, 100.000-ից ավելի բնակիչ տարհանվել է աղետի վայրից։

Երկրի փրկարարները, ինչպես նաև անվտանգության ուժերի ու ոստիկանության ծառայողները շարունակում են որոնողափրկարարական աշխատանքները։

Շրի-Լանկայի նախագահ Մթրիփալա Սիրիսենան այցելել է աղետից ամենաշատ տուժած վայրերը և վստահեցրել տուժածներին, որ կառավարությունը նոր տներ կկառուցի անտուն մնացած բնակիչների համար։
