ԱՄՆ-ի օդային հարվածներ է հասցրել Եմենի մայրաքաղաք Սանային, որը գտնվում է ապստամբների Անսար Ալլահ շարժման (հութիների) վերահսկողության ներքո: Բացի այդ հարվածներ են հասցվել երկրի այլ շրջանների վրա, զոհվել է 31 և վիրավորվել ավելի քան 100-ը, ասել է Հութիի առողջապահության նախարարության խոսնակ Անիս ալ Ասբահին:

Նախօրեին՝ մարտի 15-ի երեկոյան, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել էր Եմենի հութիների դեմ ռազմական գործողություններ սկսելու մասին։ Շարժումը հայտարարել էր, որ սա բացահայտ ագրեսիա է։

Թրամփն անձամբ է հետևել Եմենի հութի ապստամբների ռազմական ենթակառուցվածքներին ԱՄՆ օդային հարվածների ընթացքին:
