Лукашенко переизбрался на седьмой президентский срок

Правящий Беларусью с 1994 года Александр Лукашенко переизбрался на седьмой президентский срок. Согласно предварительным данным Центризбиркома республики, за Лукашенко проголосовали 86,82% белорусов. Итоговая явка на выборах составила 85,7%.

Выборы президента Беларуси прошли 26 января. Кроме Лукашенко в них участвовали еще четыре кандидата. Лидер Либерально-демократической партии Олег Гайдукевич набрал 2,02% голосов, предприниматель Анна Канопацкая — 1,86%, первый секретарь Центрального комитета Коммунистической партии Сергей Сыранков — 3,21%, а председатель Республиканской партии труда и справедливости Александр Хижняк — 1,74%. Против всех кандидатов проголосовали 3,6% белорусов.

Выборы проходили без участия западных наблюдателей, а также без открытия участков за рубежом.
