Իրաքի իշխանությունները որոշում են կայացրել մայիսի 21-ից դադարեցնել լոլիկի ներմուծումը Թուրքիայից: Այս մասին հայտնում է թուրքական «Հուրիեթ» պարբերականը:

Իրաքի գյուղատնտեսության նախարարությունը տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ հայտնել է, որ նման որոշմամբ իրենք մտադիր են աջակցել տեղական արտադրողներին: Իրաքյան կողմի հայտարարությունը տեղադրվել է նաև Թուրքիայի էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության կայքում:

Ավելի վաղ ռուս-թուրքական լարված հարաբերությունների հետևանքով Թուրքիայից լոլիկի արտահանումը դադարեցրել էր նաև Ռուսաստանը, ինչից հետո լոլիկի արտահանման ծավալը 2016 թվականին 367 միլիոնից նվազել էր 238 մլն դոլարի:

Իրաքը համարվում էր Թուրքիայից լոլիկ արտահանող ամենաառանցքային երկրներից մեկը: 2014 թվականին երկիրը Թուրքիայից արտահանել էր 98,5 մլն դոլարի, 2015 թվականին՝ 82,8 մլն դոլարի լոլիկ:
