Մադրիդում Սննդամթերքի ուսումնասիրության ինստիտուտի աշխատակիցները բացահայտել են գինու նոր օգտակար հատկություն: Ըստ նրանց՝ գինին օգնում է պայքարել սթրեսի, ինչպես նաև որոշ տարիքային հիվանդությունների դեմ:

Փորձի արդյունքում գիտնակնները եկել են եզրակացության, որ գինին պարունակում է այնպիսի տարրեր, որոնք կանխում են նյարդային բջիջների մահը: Սթրեսային իրավիճակում այն նաև հանգստացնում է մարդուն: Բացի այդ, մասնագետները պարզել են, որ գինին օգնում է Ալցգեյմերի և Պարկինսոնի հիվանդության կանխման հարցում:

Միևնույն ժամանակ, հետազոտության հեղինակներն ընդգծում են, որ գինու չափավոր կիրառման դեպքում՝ օրական մոտ 100 միլիլիտր, նրա մեջ առկա մետաբոլիտները ևս դրական ազդեցություն են թողնում:
