Շվեյցարիայի գիտնականներ հետազոտություն են անցկացրել, որի արդյունքում պարզ է  դարձել, որ դանդաղ ինտերնետը  կարող է առողջության խնդիրների պատճառ դառնալ։

Կամավորներին առաջարկել ենտեսանյութ դիտել, որը դանդաղ էր բեռնվում և ընթացքում  կանգնում էր։

Այս ընթացքում կամավորներին էլեկտրաէնցեֆալոգրամա և կարդիոգրամա են արել։  Արդյունքում պարզէ  դարձել, որ այն ազդում է  սրտի աշխատանքի վրա և մի քանի անգամ բարձրացնում սթրեսի մակարդակը։

Հետազոտությունը ցույց է տվել, որ դանդաղ ինտերնետի  պատճառով մարդիկ  ուժեղ զգացմունքային լարվածություն  են ունենում, որն իր հերթին բացասաբար է  ազդում  նյարդային համակարգի և սրտի վրա։
