Էրդողանին Էնդրյուս ավիաբազայում դիմավորել է ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտի արարողակարգի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Ռոզմերի Պաուլին և Թուրքիայի դեսպան Սերդար Քըլըչը: Էրդողանի հետ Միացյալ Նահանգներ են ժամանել արդարադատության, արտաքին գործերի, էկոնոմիկայի, էներգետիկայի և բնական պաշարների, ազգային պաշտպանության նախարարները:

Թուրքիայի նախագահը հանդիպելու է ԱՄՆ գործընկերոջ՝ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հետ: Ակնկալվում է, որ հանդիպման ժամանակ քննարկման հիմնական թեմաներից են լինելու չափավոր իսլամի քարոզիչ Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի արտահանձնման, ինչպես նաև Սիրիայի քրդերին զինելու մասին Թրամփի կայացրած որոշմանն առնչվող հարցեր:
