Toyota-ն սկսել Է ֆինանսավորել թռչող ավտոմոբիլի ստեղծման ծրագիրը

Ճապոնիայի Toyota ավտոհսկան շուրջ 350 հազար դոլար կտրամադրի մինչեւ 2019 թվականը Skydrive թռչող ավտոմոբիլի ստեղծման համար, ինչի մասին հաղորդել Է The Nikkei Asian Review պորտալը: 
 
Կորպորացիայի մի քանի աշխատակիցների անձնական նախագիծը 2012 թվականից ֆինանսավորվել Է Համացանցով  հանգանակված միջոցներով: Այժմ դրա հաջող իրագործման շանսերը մեծացել են:  
 
Ստեղծողներն առաջարկել են շուրջ երեք մետր երկարությամբ եւ 1,3 մետր լայնությամբ մեկ տեղանոց եռանիվ ապարատի հայեցակարգը: Skydrive-ին օդ կբարձրացնեն չորս պտուտակավոր շարժիչները, որոնք գտնվում են հորիզոնական հարթության վրա, ինչպես քվադրոքոփթերի մոտ: Ապարատը կկարողանա ընթանալ ճանապարհներով եւ թռչել մինչեւ 10 մետր բարձրությամբ: Դրա առավելագույն արագությունը կկազմի ժամում մինչեւ 100 կիլոմետր:    
 
Շնորհանդեսային տեսահոլովակում Skydrive-ը վայրԷջք Է կատարում Տոկիոյում Օլիմպիադա 2020-ի գլխավոր արենայի մոտ բացման արարողության ժամանակ, մտնում Է մարզադաշտ եւ վերստին բարձրանում օդ, ինչից հետո այն վարող մարդը վառում Է օլիմպիական կրակը:
