Շատ տղամարդիկ ընտրում են առանց պարտավորությունների սեքսը՝ այդպես էլ լուրջ հարաբերություններ չկառուցելով աղջկա հետ։ Հոգեբանները պարզել են, որ տղամարդու այդպիսի պահվածքում իր դերն ունի մանկական դաստիարակությունը։ Այն տղաները, ում փոքր ժամանակ ամաչեցրել են իրենց աղջկական պահվածքի համար, հետագայում հրաժարվում են լուրջ հարաբերություններ կառուցել։ Պատճառներից մեկն էլ, ըստ հոգեբանների, տղամարդկանց ֆինանսական անկայուն վիճակն է։ Նրանք հասկանում են, որ դժվար կարողանան հոգալ ընտանիքի հոգսերը և ընտրում են «հեշտ» տարբերակը՝ ունենալ շատ սիրուհիներ, բայց մնալ միայնակ։
