ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը մտադիր է Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի հետ Վատիկանում հանդիպել մայիսի 24-ին:

Ինչպես հայտնում է ТАСС գործակալությունը, Սուրբ աթոռի մամուլի ծառայությունը հաստատել է, որ սրբազան քահանայապետը Թրամփին Առաքելական պալատում կընդունի մայիսի 24-ին: Նշվում է, որ հանդիպումը կկայանա տեղի ժամանակով 08:30-ին (10:30` երևանյան):

Սպիտակ տան հրապարակած հաղորդագրության մեջ ասվում է, որ Թրամփը մտադիր է Հռոմի պապի հետ քննարկել փոխադարձ հետաքրքրության հարցեր, այդ թվում` ԱՄՆ-ի և կրոնական համայնքների միջև համագործակցությունը:

ԱՄՆ առաջնորդը Հռոմում կհանդիպի նաև Իտալիայի նախագահ Սերջիո Մատարելլային։

Այսօր ավելի վաղ հայտնի էր դարձել, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահի պաշտոնում իր առաջին արտասահմանյան այցի շրջանակներում Թրամփը կմեկնի նաև Սաուդյան Արաբիա և Իսրայել:
