Մերձմոսկովյան Crocus City Hall համերգասրահի վրա հարձակվածներից երկուսը եկել էին Թուրքիայից ահաբեկչությունից անմիջապես առաջ։ Այս մասին ասել է Ռուսաստանի անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայություն տնօրեն Ալեքսանդր Բորտնիկովը, փոխանցել է РИА Новости-ն։

Նրանցից մեկն ասել է, որ մարտի 4-ին ժամանել է Թուրքիայից։ Երկրորդի սոցիալական ցանցերում հայտնաբերվել են լուսանկարներ Ստամբուլից, որոնք հրապարակվել են փետրվարի 23-ին։

Ավելի վաղ Բորտնիկովը հայտնել էր, որ մերձմոսկովյան Crocus City Hall համերգասրահում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության կազմակերպիչը արտերկրում է։

Մարտի 22-ի երեկոյան մի խումբ զինված ահաբեկիչներ մտել էին Crocus City Hall, որտեղ նախատեսված էին եղել «Պիկնիկ» ռոք խմբի համերգը և Ռուսաստանի պարային սպորտի առաջնությունը։ Հանցագործները կրակ էին բացել այցելուների վրա, հրկիզել համերգասրահը՝ մարդկանց արգելափակելով շենքում։ Այնուհետեւ նրանք փորձել էին փախչել սպիտակ Renault Symbol-ով, սակայն ձերբակալվել էին Բրյանսկի շրջանում:
