Իրանի նախագահի լիազորությունները, համաձայն այդ երկրի Սահմանադրության, 2 ամսով փոխանցվում են առաջին տեղակալ Մոհամմադ Մոխբերին։

Նա կստանձնի երկրի ղեկավարությունն առաջիկա երկու ամիսների, իսկ 50 օրվա ընթացքում նոր նախագահական ընտրություններ կանցկացվեն՝ համաձայն երկրի Սահմանադրության։

Հիշեցնենք, որ Իրանի նախագահը զոհվել է ուղղաթիռի վթարի հետևանքով։

Իրանական ԶԼՄ-ները մայիսի 19-ին հաղորդել են, որ Ռայիսիին և երկրի արտգործնախարար Հոսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանին տեղափոխող ուղղաթիռը կոշտ վայրէջք է կատարել երկրի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում՝ Վերզեգանի շրջանում: Վաղ առավոտյան հայտնի դարձավ, որ ուղղաթիռը հայտնաբերվել է, բոլոր ուղևորները զոհվել են։
