Բաքուն վճռականորեն մերժում է Ֆրանսիայի կողմից Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ արտահայտած կարծիքները, որոնք միանգամայն անընդունելի են։ Ինչպես հայտնում է Azertac-ը, այս մասին հայտարարել է երկրի ԱԳՆ մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Այխան Հաջիզադեն՝ արձագանքելով Ֆրանսիայի ՆԳ նախարար Ժերալդ Դարմանինի՝ Ադրբեջանը բռնապետություն անվանելուն։

Նա պնդել է, թե իբրև անկախության վերականգնումից ի վեր Ադրբեջանը միշտ ձևավորվել և զարգացել է որպես «ժողովրդավարական արժեքներին հավատարիմ» հասարակություն։

«Ադրբեջանը մի երկիր է, որտեղ տարբեր ազգությունների ու դավանանքի մարդիկ ապրում են խաղաղության և անվտանգության մթնոլորտում։ Ֆրանսիական կողմը պետք է ներողություն խնդրի այս հայտարարության համար։ Հակառակ դեպքում դա կբերի էլ ավելի բացասական հետևանքների ադրբեջանա-ֆրանսիական հարաբերությունների համար»,- ասել է Հաջիզադեն
