Լիտվայում կայացել է նախագահական ընտրությունների առաջին փուլը։ Երկուշաբթի հայտնի է դարձել, որ երկրի ներկայիս ղեկավար Գիտանաս Նաուսեդան և վարչապետ Ինգրիդա Շիմոնիտեն կմրցեն քվեարկության երկրորդ փուլում:

Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի տվյալներով՝ ձայների մեծամասնության հաշվարկի արդյունքներով Նաուսեդան հավաքել է ձայների 44%-ը, իսկ Շիմոնիտեն՝ 19%-ը։ Ընտրություններին մասնակցությունը կազմել է 59,4 տոկոս։

«Այո, ես ուզում էի հաղթել առաջին փուլում, բայց, ըստ երևույթին, կլինի երկրորդ փուլ, ես պատրաստ եմ պայքարել հաղթանակի համար և կարծում եմ, որ կկարողանամ դա անել», - մեջբերում է Delfi-ն Նաուսեդայի խոսքը:
