Լիտվայում նախագահական ընտրություններ են անցկացվում։ Մոտ 2,5 միլիոն ընտրող որոշում է, թե առաջիկա հինգ տարում ով է զբաղեցնելու Լիտվայի բարձրագույն կառավարական պաշտոնը, հայտնում է dw.com-ը։

Հարցումները ցույց են տալիս, որ ակնհայտ ֆավորիտը գործող նախագահ, 59-ամյա պրոֆեսիոնալ տնտեսագետ Գիտանաս Նաուսեդան է, որը ղեկավարում է Լիտվան 2019 թվականից։ Նրա հետ մրցապայքար է մտել ևս յոթ թեկնածու։

Առաջին արդյունքները սպասվում են մայիսի 13-ի գիշերը։

Եթե թեկնածուներից ոչ մեկը չստանա բացարձակ մեծամասնություն, ապա մայիսի 26-ին Լիտվայում կկայանա ընտրությունների երկրորդ փուլ, որտեղ կհանդիպեն երկու ամենաշատ ձայներ հավաքած թեկնածուները։

Միաժամանակ երկրում անցկացվում է երկքաղաքացիության ներդրման հանրաքվե։
