Իսրայելը սկսել է ռմբակոծել Ռաֆահ քաղաքը

Իսրայելական բանակը սկսել է օդային հարվածներ հասցնել Ռաֆահին մի քանի ժամ անց այն բանից հետո, երբ նա քաղաքի արևելյան հատվածի բնակիչներին տարհանելու կոչ է արել։ Այս մասին առաջինը հայտնել է AFP-ն՝ վկայակոչելով քաղաքում իր թղթակցին: Գործակալության տվյալներով՝ իսրայելական հարվածները շարունակվել են մոտ կես ժամ գրեթե անդադար։ Շուտով իսրայելական բանակը հաստատել է հարվածները քաղաքին:

«Իսրայելական պաշտպանության բանակը ներկայումս թիրախային հարվածներ է հասցնում ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի ահաբեկչական օբյեկտներին Գազայի հատվածի հարավում գտնվող Ռաֆահի արևելյան հատվածում», - ասվում է Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի թելեգրամյան ալիքում:

Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի մամուլի ծառայությունը նույնպես հայտնել է, որ երկրի ռազմական կաբինետը որոշել է շարունակել Ռաֆահում նախատեսված ռազմական գործողությունը։ X սոցիալական ցանցում հրապարակված հաղորդագրության մեջ ասվում է, որ գործողությունը նպատակ ունի ռազմական ճնշում գործադրել ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի վրա՝ արագացնելու պատանդների ազատ արձակումը և պատերազմի մյուս նպատակներին հասնելու համար:
