ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսը հավանություն է տվել Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների օրենքն անժամկետ դարձնելու նախագծին

ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը հավանություն է տվել Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների մասին օրենքն անժամկետ դարձնելու օրինագծին։

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, քվեարկությունն ապրիլի 16-ին հեռարձակվել է C-SPAN հեռուստաալիքով:

Օրինագծին կողմ է արտահայտվել 407 օրենսդիր, դեմ՝ 16-ը: Այժմ փաստաթուղթը կներկայացվի ԱՄՆ Սենատի քննարկմանը։

2023 թվականի մայիսին առաջարկված օրինագիծն առաջարկում է անժամկետ ​դարձնել Իրանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների մասին օրենքը, որն ընդունվել է 1996 թվականին, և որի գործողության ժամկետը լրանում է 2026 թվականին:

Այդ օրենքն ԱՄՆ գործադիր իշխանությանը թույլ է տալիս տարբեր պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել Իրանի դեմ։
