Հայաստանի ծանրամարտի տղամարդկանց հավաքականը 5 մարզիկով կմասնակցի Թաիլանդի Պհուկետ քաղաքում մեկնարկող աշխարհի գավաթի խաղարկությանը, որը վարկանիշային է Փարիզի Օլիմպիական խաղերի համար:

Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանի գլխավորությամբ մրցավայր են մեկնել Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանը (89 կգ), Սամվել Գասպարյանը (102 կգ), Գարիկ Կարապետյանը (102կգ), Վարազդատ Լալայանը (+109 կգ) և Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը (+109 կգ):

Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչներից առաջինը մրցահարթակ դուրս կգա 89 կգ քաշային Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանը: Նա պայքարի դուրս կգա ապրիլի 6-ին: Մրցման մեկնարկը 16:30-ին է:

Ապրիլի 8-ին՝ ժամը 22:00-ից, մրցահարթակ դուրս կգան 102 կգ քաշայիններ Սամվել Գասպարյանն ու Գարիկ Կարապետյանը:

Ապրիլի 11-ին մրցահարթակը կտրամադրվի գերծանր քաշային ծանրորդներին: Ժամը 19:00-ից պայքարի դուրս կգան +109 կգ քաշային Վարազդատ Լալայանն ու Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը:

Թաիլանդում անցկացվելիք աշխարհի գավաթի խաղարկությունը հայ ծանրորդների վերջին վարկանիշային մրցաշարն է Փարիզի Օլիմպիական խաղերից առաջ:
