ՌԴ Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի տվյալներով՝ քվեների 99,7%-ի մշակումից հետո Պուտինը ստացել է ձայների 87,31%-ը։

Պուտինին նաև շնորհավորել է Հռոմի պապ Ֆրանցիսկոսը։ Այս մասին ՌԻԱ «Նովոստի»-ին հայտնել է Հին հավատացյալների համաշխարհային միության նախագահ Լեոնիդ Սևաստյանովը, որը շփվել է պոնտիֆիկոսի հետ։
