Իսրայելի և ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի միջև նոր բանակցությունները նախատեսվում է սկսել Քաթարում կիրակի օրը

Ենթադրվում է, որ Իսրայելի և ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի միջև նոր բանակցությունները Քաթարում կսկսվեն  արդեն կիրակի օրը, սակայն կարող են հետաձգվել մինչև երկուշաբթի, հաղորդում է Associated Press լրատվական գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով Եգիպտոսի պաշտոնյաներին:

Բանակցությունները տեղի են ունենում այն պայմաններում, երբ Իսրայելը դիտարկում է ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի առաջարկած գործարքը հրադադարի և պատանդների ու գերիների փոխանակման վերաբերյալ: Եռափուլ գործարքի համաձայն, առաջարկվում է վերադարձնել 35 իսրայելցի պատանդի՝ 350 պաղեստինցի բանտարկյալի ազատ արձակման դիմաց, ինչպես նաև կոչ է արվում իսրայելական զորքերը դուրս բերել Գազայից և դադարեցնել շրջափակումը:

Թեև Իսրայելի վարչապետ Նաթանյահուն գործարքն անվանել է «խելագար», սակայն նախկինի պես իսրայելական բարձր մակարդակի պատվիրակություն է ուղարկում, որին, բանակցություններին մասնակցելու համար, միացել է Մոսադի հետախուզության ղեկավարը:
