Ուկրաինայի նախագահը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանն օգտվում է Կիևին օգնության տրամադրման ձգձգումից: Վոլոդիմիր Զելենկին զգուշացրել է, որ այն շրջաններում, որտեղ կենտրոնացված են ռուսական զորքերը, իրավիճակը «չափազանց բարդ է»։

Նա վստահություն է հայտնել, որ ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսը կհաստատի օգնության մեծ փաթեթը, որն աջակցություն է նախատեսում նաև Ուկրաինայի համար: Նախագծի ընդունումը ձգձգվում է Ներկայացուցիչների պալատում մեծամասնություն կազմող հանրապետականների կողմից, որոնք դժգոհում են, որ փաթեթից դուրս է մնացել ԱՄՆ հարավային սահմանների ամրապնդման հարցը:

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը հայտարարել էր, որ պատրաստ է հանդիպել Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակ Մայք Ջոնսոնի հետ՝ քննարկելու օրինագիծը, հավելել, որ հանրապետականները սխալ են գործում՝ դեմ արտահայտվելով փաթեթին:
