ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը հայտարարել է, որ Եվրոպայի համար միջուկային կարողությունների ստեղծումը, երբ ՆԱՏՕ-ում արդեն իսկ կա միջուկային զսպման համակարգ, ոչ մի օգուտ չի բերի։

Այդ մասին հայտնում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ն։ 

«ՆԱՏՕ-ի որոշ անդամների միջև միջուկային զսպման զուգահեռ համակարգերի ստեղծման գաղափարը, առանց ԱՄՆ-ի կամ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ներառման, օգտակար չի լինի և միայն կխաթարի ընդհանուր միջուկային զսպումը, որը երկար տարիներ լավ է աշխատել շատերի համար»,- ասել է Ստոլտենբերգը Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովում: 

Նա նաև նշել է, որ ցանկացած քննարկում, որը կասկածի տակ է դնում ներկայիս միջուկային զսպման համակարգը, միայն կխարխլի դաշինքը։
