Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Հոսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանը հայտարարել է, որ Իրանը Լիբանանի անվտանգությունը համարում է իր անվտանգությունը:

Ինչպես հայտնում է  իրանական IRNA գործակալությունն՝ այս  մասին Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարը հայտարարել է Բեյրութի Ռաֆիկ Հարիրիի անվան օդանավակայան ժամանելուց հետո, լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում՝ ընդգծելով, որ Գազայում չորս ամսվա ցեղասպանությունից հետո իսրայելական ռեժիմը չի հասել իր նպատակներից ոչ մեկին:

«Մենք հստակ ասել ենք ԱՄՆ-ին չաջակցել սիոնիստական ​​ռեժիմին Գազայի և Հորդանան գետի արևմտյան ափի դեմ ցեղասպանություն իրականացնելու գործում: Գազայի ճգնաժամի հենց սկզբից մենք բարձրաձայն հայտարարել ենք, որ պատերազմը լուծում չէ»,-ասել է նա։
