Անցած 24 ժամվա ընթացքում Կամչատկայի ափին հինգ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել, որոնց ուժգնությունը տատանվել է 3,6-ից 5 բալի միջև։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ՌԴ Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի միասնական երկրաֆիզիկական ծառայության Կամչատկայի մասնաճյուղը, տեղեկացնում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ն:

Նշվում է, որ 3,6 և 3,7 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությամբ ցնցումներ են գրանցվել Կամչատկայի արևելյան ափերի մոտ՝ Պետրոպավլովկա-Կամչատսկից 148 և 142 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա: Եվս երեք երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել Կամչատկայի երկրամասի կղզիների մոտ, որոնց ուժգնությունը տատանվել է 4,6-ից 5,0 մագնիտուդով: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումների վայրից մինչև մոտակա բնակեցված տարածքը 35-ից 50 կիլոմետր է։

Ինչպես պարզաբանել են ԱԻՆ-ից, Կամչատկայում ցնցումներ չեն զգացվել, այնտեղ նույնպես ցունամիի վտանգ չի հայտարարվել։ Զոհերի մասին նույնպես տեղեկություններ չկան։
