Եվրահանձնաժողովի փոխնախագահ, Եվրոպական միության արտաքին և անվտանգության քաղաքականության հարցերով բարձր ներկայացուցիչ Ժոզեպ Բորելն այցով ժամանել է Կիև։

Բորելն անձամբ է հաստատել իր ժամանումը Ուկրաինա և X-ում հրապարակել լուսանկար գնացքի վագոնից։

Նա նշել է, որ Ուկրաինա Ռուսաստանի ներխուժումից հետո չորրորդ անգամ է այցելում Կիև՝ ուկրաինացի ընկերների հետ քննարկելու ԵՄ-ի անսասան աջակցությունն Ուկրաինային:

Ինչպես նշել է Բորելը, խոսքը ռազմական և ֆինանսական աջակցության մասին է։

Բորելն Ուկրաինայում կլինի երկու օր՝ փետրվարի 6-7-ը։

ԵՄ բարձր ներկայացուցիչը կհանդիպի Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկու, վարչապետ Դենիս Շմիգալի, արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դիետր Կուլեբայի և պաշտպանության նախարար Ռուստեմ Ումերովի հետ։

Բորելը ելույթ կունենա Ուկրաինայի Գերագույն Ռադայի պատգամավորների առջև և կայցելի Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացիական անվտանգության սեկտորի բարեփոխման Եվրամիության խորհրդատվական առաքելություն:
