Կարմիր ծովում լարվածությունը շատ բարձր մակարդակի վրա է, և կա հավանականություն, որ իրավիճակը շուտով դուրս կգա վերահսկողությունից։ Այս մասին երկուշաբթի՝ հունվարի 15-ին, հայտարարել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշը։

«Կարմիր ծովում լարվածությունը բարձր մակարդակի վրա է, և շուտով հնարավոր չի լինի զսպել այն»,- ասել է նա:

Գուտերեշը հավելել է, որ ՄԱԿ-ը «չափազանց անհանգստացած է» Իսրայելի և Լիբանանի սահմանին ամենօրյա փոխհրաձգությամբ, քանի որ դա կարող է հրահրել երկու պետությունների միջև կոնֆլիկտի սրում, ինչն իր հերթին կազդի տարածաշրջանային կայունության վրա, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
