Տանյա Համոնդսը Կենտուկիից խնդրել է ամուսնուն վիճակախաղի տոմսեր գնել խանութից որոշակի խաղարկության համար: Սակայն տղամարդը սխալմամբ ձեռք է բերել ակնթարթային վիճակախաղի այլ տոմսեր: Դրանք դրված են եղել վաճառասեղանի վրա, որոնք կինը խնդրել է գնել:

Արդյունքում՝ ամուսնու անուշադրությունը կնոջը հարստություն է բերել։ Երբ նա տոմսերից մեկի վրայից հանել է պաշտպանիչ շերտը և ստուգել վիճակախաղի հավելվածում, պարզել է, որ շահել է 50 հազար դոլար:

Կինը խոստովանել է, որ սկզբում չի հավատացել բախտին, սակայն որոշել է, որ սխալմունք է եղել։ Ավելի ուշ նա համոզվել է, որ շահել է, և անմիջապես իր մոր հետ կիսվել է ուրախալի լուրով։
