ԱՄՆ-ն «Չինաստանին զսպելու համար» 2024-ին միջին հեռահարության հրթիռներ կտեղակայի Հնդկական-խաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում

ԱՄՆ բանակի Խաղաղօվկիանոսյան հրամանատարության խոսնակ Ռոբ Ֆիլիպսը Nikkei Asia-ին ասել է, որ ԱՄՆ իշխանությունները մտադիր են միջին հեռահարության հրթիռներ տեղակայել Հնդկական-խաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում 2024 թվականին։

Ռոբ Ֆիլիպսի խոսքով՝ հրթիռների տեղակայումն ուղղված է «Չինաստանի դեմ զսպման ուժի ամրապնդմանը»։

Ֆիլիպսը պարզաբանել է, որ խոսքը SM-6 հրթիռի ցամաքային տարբերակների և 500 մ-ից մինչև 2,7 հազար կմ թռիչքի հեռահարությամբ Tomahawk թևավոր հրթիռի ցամաքային տարբերակների մասին է։ Հրթիռների տեղակայման վայրն ու ստույգ ժամկետը հայտնի չեն։
