Գազայի հատվածում ավելի քան 3600 պաղեստինցի անհետ կորած է համարվում Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի գնդակոծությունից հետո։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Al Jazeera հեռուստաալիքը՝ հղում անելով անկլավի իշխանությունների մամուլի ծառայությանը։

Նրա խոսքով, «փլատակների տակ մնացած Գազայի պաղեստինցիների թիվը կազմում է 3640, որոնցից 1770-ը երեխաներ են»։

Գազայի իշխանությունների վերջին տվյալների համաձայն՝ հոկտեմբերի 7-ից Գազայի հատվածում մահացել է 11500 մարդ, այդ թվում՝ 4710 երեխա և 3160 կին։
